Dr. Alexandria Atuahene Opata is a Board-Certified Endocrinologist currently working at Novo Nordisk in Clinical Development, Medical, and Regulatory Affairs as the Diabetes Scientific Director for the South. She graduated from Rutgers University and obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ-New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Opata completed her residency at Northwell Health and her endocrinology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. With eight years of experience in endocrinology, she is dedicated to ensuring patients receive excellent care. In her current role, she continues this commitment by educating healthcare professionals and staying abreast of the latest advancements in diabetes research. Additionally, she actively participates in conferences and seminars to share her knowledge and collaborate with peers in the medical field.
