Brandon Sloane serves as the Academic Director for the Master’s in Cybersecurity Leadership at Wake Forest University’s School of Professional Studies. In this role, he leads curriculum development and faculty engagement, aiming to prepare students for leadership positions in cybersecurity. His teaching emphasizes the integration of technical expertise with strategic and ethical considerations, equipping graduates to navigate complex challenges in the digital landscape.​In addition to his academic responsibilities, Brandon is the Information Security Risk Management Lead at Meta. He has developed and scaled enterprise-wide programs focused on AI Security Governance and content integrity, aligning with frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. His prior experience includes over a decade at Bank of America, where he held senior roles in cybersecurity architecture and resilience planning.​Brandon is also an adjunct professor at NYU, teaching graduate courses in Information Security and Privacy. He contributes to nonprofit initiatives such as Project Cyber, which encourages young women to pursue careers in cybersecurity, and has collaborated with CodePath on curriculum development.​He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. His educational background includes an M.S. in Cybersecurity from NYU, an MBA in Finance, Operations, and Information Systems from the University of Rochester, and a B.A. in Mathematics from UC Berkeley.
