Dr. Gary Lieberman holds a BBA in Management from Baruch College, an MBA in Organizational Behavior from Georgian Court University, and a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Nova Southeastern University. Recently retired as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Information Security Governance at a top-tier global financial advisory and asset management bank in New York City, he built IT and cybersecurity departments, implemented a five-year cybersecurity plan, and advanced the bank’s Identity Access Management program to industry-leading standards. With a career spanning early Unix O/S development, launching tech companies, and public service, including 21 years in elected public office, Dr. Lieberman is now a Professor of Practice at the School of Professional Studies at Wake Forest University, a Senior Professor of Cybersecurity at Grand Canyon University, and an Assistant Professor at Caldwell University, where he teaches and develops courses in cybersecurity, risk management, and organizational behavior. As a published author and speaker on AI and cybersecurity, he is dedicated to mentoring future leaders.
