Matthew Cline, MD

Matthew Cline, MD is a faculty member and emergency physician with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. He has served as the Emergency Department Medical Director at Davie Medical Center since 2014. Dr. Cline also held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Davie from 2020 to 2025. Currently, he is the Chief of Staff and Executive Director of Provider Integration and Strategy for the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Area.

Dr. Cline’s academic journey began at Wake Forest University, where he earned a degree in chemistry in 2004. He then graduated from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2009 and completed his residency training in emergency medicine there in 2012.

Residing in Winston Salem, Dr. Cline enjoys life with his wife Meghan, daughter Parker, and son Bo.
