Shane Lee is an adjunct professor of the practice at the Wake Forest University School of Professional Studies, and is also an accomplished credit trader and quantitative strategist with over 15 years of expertise in financial services. His career spans roles in trading, portfolio management, risk oversight, and quantitative modeling. Currently, Shane serves as an Executive Director at Wells Fargo Securities, where he leads the Credit ETF and Portfolio Trading efforts. He has been instrumental in developing innovative market-making and dynamic hedging strategies that leverage relative value trading, statistical arbitrage, and machine learning analytics. His role combines his dual expertise as a trader and quant strategist, contributing to the significant growth of the Portfolio Trading and ETF business. Prior to his current role, Shane held senior positions at Millennium Advisors, MassMutual Financial Group, and Prudential Financial. His diverse experience includes making markets in investment-grade Yankee financials, managing fixed income portfolios and foreign exchange overlays, conducting macroeconomic analysis, and implementing advanced quantitative models for derivatives. Shane is a CFA charterholder and Certified FRM, reflecting his dedication to maintaining high standards in financial and risk management. He earned a Master of Science in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Theology from the University of Notre Dame.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shane is passionate about teaching and mentoring. An adjunct professor, he takes pride in sharing his expertise to help others excel in their careers. Residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, Shane balances his demanding career with family life.
