Dr. Sharada Iyer is a Risk Executive in a leading national bank in the US. She is an accomplished and dynamic leader with over 25 years of experience across financial services, health insurance, and Technology domains. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Management Strategy, Digital Transformation, Cyber, Data Operations, Privacy, Risk, and Resiliency. Dr. Iyer is trained in Executive Leadership from the Wharton School of Business and holds a series of industry certifications, including Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Risk, Cloud, and several others. Dr. Iyer has a proven track record of demonstrating thought leadership on a variety of business functions through workplace excellence & strong integrity; she has delivered commercially effective – digital, strategy, innovation, banking, payments, engineering & process – solutions in global cross-cultural setting with multi-million dollars Return on Investment. Dr. Iyer is an adjunct professor at Drexel University as well as Purdue University for Graduate and Undergraduate programs. She believes in simplification and making the application of knowledge more relatable. Dr. Iyer is a DE&I champion and passionately believes in giving back to the community. In addition to being an executive representative on different DEI initiatives at her firm, Dr. Iyer has been actively engaged in various activities around community giving including mentoring several undergraduates globally. She serves as a board member in the US Selective Services representing state of New Jersey. Dr. Iyer is also a chairperson and a board of directors for a nonprofit organization called The Lucky Foundation that is geared to serve & support families of the Fallen Heroes and Veterans of the United States. Dr. Iyer, with her family, is based out of the East Coast and is an active promoter of South Asian (Indian) Arts in her local community.
