Saira Haque, PhD, MHSA, FAMIA, ACHIP is a health informaticist who has led interdisciplinary research, implementation, evaluation and technical assistance efforts across the healthcare spectrum. She is currently in an informatics subject matter expert role at Pfizer. Some of her areas of interest include artificial intelligence, virtual care, health information exchange, real-world evidence and EHR innovation. Previously, she led the data interoperability and clinical informatics program at RTI International, a non-profit research institute. There, she oversaw strategic development of the program, securing funding, and staff development.

Her background also includes hospital administration and management consulting roles. She has authored over 100 government reports, peer-reviewed publications and other types of scientific dissemination. Dr. Haque has presented her work through at Tedx talk on “Why we all should care about health equity”, at the White House, through reports to Congress, and to various congressional and federal agency officials. She has served on national committees and task forces on various informatics topics including health information exchange and telehealth. Dr. Haque is both a fellow and certified informatics professional of the American Medical Informatics Association.
