Professor Trina Brown brings over three decades of expertise in conflict resolution and law. As the founder of a respected mediation practice in Mansfield, Texas where she specializes in resolving civil, family, and workplace disputes, she serves as a court-appointed mediator for Dallas and Tarrant County courthouses. She is a valued mediation panelist for the Texas Department of Insurance. Professor Brown is a member of the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, holding the prestigious title of Credentialed Advanced Mediator. Her accomplishments have been highlighted in the State Bar of Texas’ Texas Bar Journal, which features all current credential holders in the state. She has also contributed to the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Ethics Handbook and authored articles published in The Legal Educator magazine.

In addition to her mediation work, Trina is a Certified Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where she presides over disputes between investors, brokers, and financial advisors. A native of Philadelphia and enthusiastic Eagles fan, Professor Brown earned her undergraduate degree from Immaculata University and completed her graduate studies at George Washington University. Her dedication to service and professional excellence has previously provided her membership in the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, an honor society chartered by the Supreme Court of Texas.
